Emma Tetreault
I want to be a thermostat that sets the tone so I'm setting a good example.
At 10 years old, Emma Tetreault has fully embraced the opportunity to step up and be a leader in both her school and church in Sidney, British Columbia (Canada). In school, she takes the incoming kindergarten students and their parents on a tour to familiarize them with the school. At church, she has been on the Kidzone Leadership team, where she has learned what it means to be a true leader, including praying for and connecting with a kindergarten kid every week. This summer, Emma will be a kid intern where she will help the Children’s Pastor’s interns with Bible Camp, set up for monthly themes and just “make their job easier.” She can’t wait for all that God has in store for her future!
My job as a leader is to lead with compassion, contentment, patience and knowledge. These are some skills to be a leader for God, my church, and my community.
I love to help, and I love to serve. I love coming up with new ideas, and thinking about how to make everyone’s job easier.
