Objectives
Encourage women to mingle with women who are outside their usual circle of friends with a fun and simple icebreaker idea that is guaranteed to create conversation and a few laughs. Even the most quiet women in your group will enjoy the interaction that this activity fosters.
Materials
Bible, sticky notes, pen
Instructions
Use the sticky notes to create clues about Bible characters. List the clues about each character you choose on a single sticky note in the form of a question. For example, “Who was the great-grandmother of King David?” or “What was the name of Israel’s first king?”
As each woman arrives, place one of the sticky notes on her back. Instruct them to roam the room to find women who can answer the questions on their backs. Once they know “who they are,” they can pick up their own name tag as well as the name tag that belongs to the person who broke their “identity crisis.”
Women will seat themselves with women who identified their character and also with those whose characters they identified. This really gets everyone talking and moving. Mix it up by making some of the clues simple while others are more challenging.
