To easily meet those in the group.
Lists, pencils, people
Have each person write a list of descriptive phrases about themselves (is wearing black shoes, has blue eyes, lived out of the country, etc.). Take the list (made about yourself) around the room and find people who fit each description. The first to finish gets a prize (or the first 3 to finish).
This is one of my favorite icebreakers! It is simple and quick and only requires a pen and individual paper for each participant. It will also help the group find others that have common interests.
